Pay the fares in Prague via SMS
Don´t you have coins by you? Did you just realize that your season ticket isn´t valid anymore? Are you in a hurry and don´t you have time for searching the ticket machine? The Prague Public Transport in a cooperation with all Czech mobile operators brings the possibility of paying the fares via SMS.
The main advantage of the SMS ticket is that you may buy it anytime and anywhere. You just need to have any mobile phone with an SIM card from the czech operator. After sending the SMS order, you will receive the ticket in few minutes. This SMS ticket you show to the inspector during the potential control.
The price of the SMS could be 32CZK, 24CZK, 110CZK or 310CZK (including the VAT) + the price of one SMS according to the tariff of your operator.
The ticket is valid only in the zone P, it isn´t possible to use it in suburban bus transport (lines 301 – 499, 601 – 620) or in the trains.
For using the SMS tickets, you must have activated the service „Premium SMS“.
The passenger may enter the vehicle or the transport spaces of the subway only after receiving the SMS ticket to his mobile phone.
