The Lesser Town Bridge Tower is opened again

From the 1st July 2013, the Lesser Town Bridge Tower is re-opened for public. The Tower is under the administration of the Museum of capital Prague and it is re-opened after the indispensable reconstruction.

During the time when the Lesser Town Bridge Tower was closed, the reconstruction of the wooden joists was made – the joists were damaged by wood-destroying insects. The same problem was with the ancient wooden floor. The damaged wooden parts were replaced by new ones and all the wooden parts were covered by special insecticides that will protect it against the wood-destroying insects.

By the entrance to the Tower, there will be a new Info Center of PIS (Prague Information Service) and a box office.
The Lesser Town Bridge Tower will offer to its visitors a beautiful view on Prague as well as many concerts and exhibitions. In this autumn there will be an exhibion called „Who is afraid cannot come to Prague“ (Kdo se bojí, nesmí do Prahy). Every July and August Saturday from 6pm and every September Saturday from 5pm, there will take place a concert called Tuba Tromboum – The Buglers under the Charles´ Bridge.

Entrance fees:
Adults: 75 CZK
Children, students: 55 CZK
Family ticket: 210 CZK
The visitors of all the towers under the administration of the Museum of capital Prague will receive a special price-reduction on tickets.

November – February: 10am – 6pm
March + October: 10am – 8pm
April – September: 10am – 10pm
