The winners of TOURFILM and TOUR REGION FILM 2013
In 2013, the 46th year of the oldest international film festival with touristic theme in the world – TOURFILM. In the same time, the 20th year of the international festival of touristic movies – TOUR REGION FILM – took its place. During these festivals, the best movies in the season 2012/2013 were announced.
In total, there were 890 movies nominated. 747 movies and multimedia from 132 countires were registered in the festival TOURFILM and 143 movies to the festival TOUR REGION FILM.
For the first time in the history of the festival TOUR REGION FILM, the movie from the Czech Republic gained the Grand Prix. Namely, it is the city Cheb for the Encyclopedy of Tourism.
The winner of the Grand Prix at the festival TOURFILM is the Irish movie Meet in Dublin.
The star of this year of the festivals is Céline Cousteau, the grand-daughter of the author of the very popular series The Submarine World of Jacques Cousteau. Mrs. Cousteau is the author of the cycle of TV movies called The Ocean Full of Adventures.
