Technical Prague

The Chamber of Commerce of Prague is the main initiator of the project called „Technical Prague“ that tries to introduce to its visitors many interesting, but unknown places and sites in Prague.

In Prague, there are many technical monuments and sites and the most of them are historicaly valuable. Almost no site was opened to the public before. The project „Technical Prague“ will show to visitors the places that were inaccessible for many years.

From 2004 to 2006, the European Union co-financed the project. After the end of this period, the Chambger of
Commerce of Prague decided to continue with the project and it created its own system of reservation of the technical objects in Prague.

The objects that are connected to the project „Technical Prague“ are for example: The Collectors Prague, The Museum of the waterengineering in Prague and the water treatment plant in Podoli, The Old Sewage Plant in Bubenec and the Museum of Public transport.

The Chamber of Commerce of Prague in cooperation with the Municipality of Prague tries to enlarge the number of the objects connected to this project.

The Chamber of Commerce of Prague:
The Chamber of Commerce of Prague was founded in 1994. Its members are big and medium enterprises as well as small entrepreneurs and companies. Nowadays, there are 892 members of the Chamber. Its main goal is to protect the interests of its members and to provide them help. The Chamber of Commerce of Prague is the only chamber of commerce in the Czech republic that helps to it members to receive the Rating MSP – the certificate that shows the financial and the non-financial solvency of the company. The Chamber of Commerce of Prague provides many other services, such as statements from the Czech POINT or the verification of the authenticity of the signatures and documents.
