The Czech Museum of Silver in the season 2013

From the 1st of April 2013, the Czech Museum of Silver will be opened again. This year´s theme is „The Return to Kutna Hora in 19th century“. Almost all the exhibitions in the objects of the museum will be focused on this theme – Hradek, Tyl´s house and Stoned House. The museum has also prepared many other activities and events.

HRADEK

Opening hours: Tuesday – Sunday, 9am – 5pm

Permanent expositions:

Ist circuit: The City of Silver – the geological history of Kutna Hora and its region. Entrance fees: adult: 70CZK, children, students, seniors: 40CZK. The explanation in a foreign language possible for an extra fee.
The tour with the guide´s explanation lasts 1 hour.
The entrance fee includes the entry to the current exhibitions in the exhibition halls of Hradek.

IInd circuit: The Way of Silver (the cellars of Hradek, the plots around Hradek, the big mining machine, the settlement of miners or the mint). Entrance fees: Adults 120CZK, children, students, seniors: 80CZK. The explanation in a foreign language possible for an extra fee.
The tour with the guide´s explanation lasts 1,5 hour.
The entrance fee includes the entry to the current exhibitions in the exhibition halls of Hradek.

The Ist and the IInd circuits together: Entrance fees: adults 140CZK, children, students, seniors 90CZK. The explanation in a foreign language possible for an extra fee.
The tour with the guide´s explanation lasts 2,5 hours.

The reservation of the tour for 1 group (max. 25 people) – additional fee 50 CZK.
The explanation in foreign language: additional fee: 20 CZK per person.
 

Exhibition:

•  400 years of Bible of Kralice – 16th October – 24th November 2013
   
• What is new in the museum – 28th October – 30th November 2013

STONED HOUSE

Opening hours: Tuesday – Sunday, 9am – 6pm.

Permanent expositions:

I. Royal Upper Town – the culture and the life of citizens from 17th to 19th century. Enterance fee: full 50CZK, reduced 30CZK.

II. Lapidarium – The Art of Stonemasons of the Middle Age – the unique collection of sculptures and architectonical articles about the most significant monuments in Kutna Hora. Entrance fee: full 40CZK, reduced 20CZK.

III. The Society Life and Personalities of Kutna Hora of 19th century

Exhibition:

Breweries in the region of Kutna Hora – the intensive development of the beer industry from 19th to the first half of 20th century. The exhibition is accompagned by many interactive programs for children and adults, including the beer degustations. Entrance fee: full 10CZK, reduced 5CZK.

TYL´S HOUSE

Opening hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 10am – 4pm

Permanent expositions:

I. The life and work of J. K. Tyl

II. The underground of Kutna Hora and its exploration – the most important discoveries from th speological exploration in past 20 years.

Entrance fee: adults: 10CZK, reduced 5CZK.
