The Municipality of the capital city Prague
Meet the activities and main roles of the Municipality of the capital city Prague.
The Municipality of the capital city Prague is the local municipal authority for the whole city of Prague. Themunicipality is composed by the director of the municipality and of the other employees. Their main goal is to fulfill the decrees of the Municipal government of Prague or of the City council of Prague.
The Municipality of the capital city Prague has many other acitivities and roles, let´s mention some of them:
- it reviews the decisions of the local municipal authorities in Prague
- it diriges and controls the activities of the local municipal authorities
- it imposes sanctions
- it cares about the order of the informational systems of Prague
- it runs the technical trainings of its employees
- it reviews the filfilling of the special decreeses of the government
- and many other responsibilities
The other role of the Municipality of Prague is the care about the welfare of its habitants, maintainance of the green vegetation, it provides the help to entrepreneurs and it administrates the security and the culture.
