The new goals of CzechTourism

The Agency CzechTourism will try to increase of the competitiveness and to maintain the economic performance of tourism in the Czech republic. Its other goal is the reinforcement of the marketing activities focusing on the world trends of traveling.

The director general of the CzechTourism, Rostislav Vondruska, wants to save money on the fix costs on taking in operation the offices of the CzechTourism in Europe. He wants to focus more on building the marketing strategies on the strong markets. According to him, the Agency will focus on the distant markets – such as China, the South America or the USA.
 

The closing of the offices of the CzechTourism will happen for example in Kiev, Vienna and Frankfurt upon Mohan. On the other hand, there will be many new offices opened, for example in Munich and Hongkong. The closing of the offices doesn´t mean the interruption of the marketing strategies in the given countries. On the contrary, the marketing will be led by the local associations and the Czech republic will be publicized in the local campaigns.
 

The results of the research „The Travel Trends Survey“, that was threw by The Travel Leaders Group, show clearly, that 92% of the respondents plan to spend the same amount of money as last year or even more during their holiday.
 

The biggest price boom will be in Europe. Nowadays, the majority of the travel agencies has more reservation that the last year. The Travel Leaders Group expected this boom. According to the CzechTourism, the Czech republic placed between top hot and trendy european countries in 2013. It also became the third best rated place, after the Croatia and Turkey.
