The travel insurance
The travel insurance is here to cover the expenses of the possible illness, injury or the loss of luggage and other valuable possessions, that could happen during your tour abroad.
Everyone pays his own health insurance, that means that in the European Union we have the right for the basic health care in public facilities.
If you sign an insurance contract, you receive a contact and the other information about the assistence service, that is available 24hours per day. This service will help you with chosing the health facility, will help you to provide the transport and medicaments and in case of theft will provide you with money.
The advantage of todays technologies is that you no longer have to visit the insurance office and ask for the an insurance contract. You can arrange it from home via internet. These contracts are often cheaper.
The price of one insurace contract depends on the duration of the tour and on your age. The period of travel insurance yould be from one day to one year. The travel insurance could be adjusted at needs of a client. Except from the costs of medicaments, hospitalisation, medical assistance and transport, you can include into the insurace even the funeral, the transport of the corpse, damage on possesion, legal services, missing the departures, veterinary services and many others. There is many kinds of insurances focused on special types of tours – sport tours, hiking tours or work missions.
ATTENTION! Every insurance office has its own limits, that means that in case of exceeding the limit, you are supposed to pay the rest of the price by yourself. In case of grave injuries, the depenses on health care are higher abroad.
