The National System of Qualifications

Do you need to complete your qualification? Do you have any professional skill, but your employer demands a Certificate? There is a solution for this problem: the National System of Qualifications. It is the way to receive the adequate professional qualification.

The National System of Qualifications (NSK) stands on two main principes:

• the qualifications are described by unified and clear system, so there is no chance to confuse the knowledge, skills and competences. The important thing is the level and quality of your skills.
• In NSK, you will find only the professions that are requested at the labour market.

By the professional qualification, you prove your ability to perform the particular job. The Standard of Qualification define the level of competences and knowledge, the Standard of Evaluation dictate the method of the examination. The professional qualifications are categorized by the European Qualification Frame (EQF).

The examination is made by an authorised person, who received the authorisation by the relevant Ministry. Every exam has its own Standards of Evaluation that have to be fulfilled by both sides – the examinor and the examinee. The exams are chargable, usually by the amount from 1 000 to 5 000 CZK.
