Re-qualification course Tour Guide FOR PRAGUE REGION
The course is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Physical Educationof the Czech Republic as a requalification course - accreditation no. 13 965/08-20/538. This course
can be paid for by the Employment Office.

Scope of authorisation: The course for Tour Guides for the Prague region is
a professional course extending knowledge for tour guides by the possibility
to conduct excursions within the territory of the capital city of Prague (circular tours of Prague and walks around
Prague).
Following successful passing of the examination you receive a Certificate for
tour guide activity Tour Guide for Prague region.
The Certificate is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Physical
Education of the Czech Republic and is valid nationwide.
Following successful passing of the examination you can obtain a metal
Prague Tour Guide badge, bearing the emblem of the capital city of Prague
and a registration number. With the Certificate for tour guides for the Prague
region you can demonstrate your high qualification as a tour guide to travel
agencies, monument buildings and tourists.
Professional lecturers and teaching methods: within the course you shal
l be taught by our professional lecturers (the majority of our teachers lecture
at universities), with a wealth of their own experiences as tour guides. You will
obtain all the necessary information in order to become qualified and popular tour guides with tourists.
We conduct lectures in an accessible and interesting form. In the majority of lectures the spoken word of the
lecturer is accompanied with an image projection. Thanks to the audio-visual element the lecture is more
illustrative, more interesting and above all it is easier for you to remember more and better. The theoretical
classroom teaching links to practical teaching. You visit the most significant Prague monuments in person
and are familiarised with the tourist routes in Prague.
Price of course: CZK 6 000.00 covers the actual course and study materials on CD, plus entry to monument
buildings during practical teaching. The price of the course does not cover the price of the examination, since
taking the examination is entirely down to the discretion of the student. We hereby notify you that if you do not
take the examination we do not issue separate certification for completing the course.
About the course: Lectures connect to secondary education. The course covers 141 hours (of which 96 are
teaching hours in the form of presentation and 45 hours distance learning).
The course is concluded with an oral qualification examination on the above subjects in Czech language.
The examination dates are arranged at the end of the course.
