The Night of Churches 2013 in the Central Bohemian region – 2nd part

Interesting objecst of the Night of Churches in the Central Bohemian region, 2nd part.

the church of the Birth of st. John Baptist

After welcoming the visitors in the church, the commented tour around the church will take place (6:10pm). The tour will be followed by a lecture on theme the Beginnings of the christianity in our country (6:30pm). The visitors will discover many interesting things from the spiritual literature (7:15pm, 8:15pm) and they will find out the Secred of the sacral spaces  so they will finally know what is the purpose of every part of any church (7:30). The concert of the choir will happen at 8:30pm and the Songs from Taizé will start at 9:30pm. During the whole night, the visitors may participate on one of the commented tours around the chapel of the Three Kings at the chateau. The special program for children will be prepared as well.

Budimerice
In the church, there will be an exhibition of the missionary work in Malawi (6pm). During the following lecture, the visitors will discover all the possible information about the liturgical objects, its meaning and use (6:45pm). During the presentation of the church music during the year, the visitors will have the possibility to discover its changes (7:30pm). The lecture about the church, about st. Procopius and about the village Budimerice will take its place as well as the time for the meditations and prayers.

In one of the most famous Czech church objects, there will be a program focused on the Secrets of the churches (6pm). During this program, the visitors will meet all the christian symbols. In the rest of the evening, there will be a possibility of an individual tour around the Area of st. Venceslas.
